Mr. Price was born in Greenville, South Carolina on December 24, 1949. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1972 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina of Law in 1975.

Mr. Price started his criminal law career as an assistant prosecutor in 1976. In 1979 he hung out his shingle as a sole practitioner practicing primarily criminal defense law. In the year 2000 he formed the law firm of Price, Paschal and Ashmore, P.A.

Mr. Price practices in both state and federal courts. He is a member of the bar association of South Carolina and New York. He is a founding member of South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as well asa life member in the National Association of the Criminal Defense Lawyers. In addition, he is a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, New York Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and California Attorneys of Criminal Justice. He recently formed and is the first President of Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

In 1999, Mr. Price was the recipient of the prestigious Public Citizen Award given by the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.

He currently has an "AV" rating with Martindale- Hubbell.
